Endgame Gunlancer Lost Ark Guide (2024)

In order to excel at Lost Ark End game as a Gunlancer, you first need to know what skills to bring to each scenario. Here we break down the skills and tripods you will want to focus on in each scenario. Then you should check out theGunlancer Engravings Guide.

Skill Priority in Combat

For Normal packs of enemies, the Gunlancer AoE rotation is:

Guardian’s Thunderbolt > Sharp Gunlance > Any other Fillers

For Bosses, the Gunlancer Single Target rotation is:

Identity Shield (if ready) > Shout of Hatred > Charged Stinger > Gunlance Shot > Any other Fillers

Stat Priority

Just equip the highest Item Lv. item you find. Focus on Agility for increased movement speed, reduced casting time, and faster skill cooldowns. Secondly, your next best stat is Specialization.

Gunlander Tank Skills Build

Here’s the general strategy for Gunlancers who choose a more Tank focused playstyle through the use of the Combat Readiness engraving. Players should prioritize on unlocking only 1 level of this engraving at first, as its higher levels do not provide greater power over the higher levels of other engravings.

Next, the rotation is as follows:

• Shout of Hatred
• Bash
• Guardian’s Thunderbolt or Shield Charge

Once those are on cooldown, use Guardian’s Thunderbolt and Shield Shock.

Tank Stat Priority

Firstly, your stats should be more focused on Specialty as this build revolves around Shield Abilities. Then Agility for faster skills and movement. Finally, add a little Crit for a little more DPS.

PvE Tank Skills & Tripods

This build requires 284 Skill Points which will require the collecting a few extra skill points from Shushire or Rohendel if you have it unlocked.

Endgame Gunlancer DPS Guide

Here’s the general strategy for Gunlancers who choose a more Damage focused playstyle through the use of the Solo Knight engraving. The majority of your damage will be in a short burst window when your four main abilities are ready. The rotation for maximum burst damage should be as follows:

• Shout of Hatred
• Bash
• Surge Cannon
• Charged Stinger

You can use bash 2 more times between each burst as it has a 10 second cooldown. When the other three are on cooldown, you can use Dash Upper Fire, Fire Bullet, and Gunlance Shot for damage between the burst windows.

To ensure maximum damage, use the Gunlancer’s Identity Skill Shield before the Burst damage rotation to ensure you will not be interrupted.

DPS Stat Priority

Maximize Crit as much as possible as the class engraving Solo Knight significantly enhances critical damage. Secondly, Agility is the next stat to choose for faster skills animations and cooldowns, and faster movement speed.

PvE DPS Skills & Tripods

This build requires 328 Skill Points which will require the collecting almost every Skill Point in Shushire and Rohendel.

Feel free to swap out Gunlance Shot for Counter Gunlance with Tripod 1: Concussion for a very high stagger ability.

PvP Gunlancer Guide

In Player versus Player Arenas, Gunlancers are a valuable asset to the team. They provide a large amount of crowd control (CC) effects such as stuns and knockdowns, and the burst potential is very high. Their shields are also valuable to help teammates peel or engage.

PvP Stats

• 800 Agility
• 440 Endurance

or

• 950 Specialization
• 300 Agility

PvP Build Skills for Gunlancer

Feel free to change whatever skills you like depending on your playstyle and how you see fit.

Useful Stuns:

• Counter Gunlance (Tripod 3: Lightning Strike Spear)
• Hook Chain > Bash
• Guardian’s Thunderbolt (Tripod 3: Electrocution)

Knock-up/down combo

• Shield Charge (Tripod 3: Unending Attack) > Dash Upper Fire

Try out using Leap Attack with the Tripod 3: Leap for some mobility and Tripod 2: Shockwave for extra knock up potential.

The main source of damage is going to be through Surge Cannon or Gunlance Shot after a stun. Surge Cannon has a long casting time, so make sure to land those stuns before using.

The Best Gunlancer PvP Awakening Skill is Guardian’s Protection due to it’s very high defensive capabilities. However, if your team finds it would be more helpful to have more damage use Lance of Judgment.
